Doyon Universal Accounting Intern in Fairbanks, Alaska


JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Accounting Manager, the Accounting Intern will assist the Accounting Department with all aspects, including: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, filing and copying.


  • Enter journal entries and data into the accounting systems

  • Filing

  • Assist with processing expense reports

  • Sort mail

  • Account reconciliations

  • May assist with other projects as requested

  • Other duties as assigned


  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles

  • Knowledge of account reconciliation

  • Proficient in Excel spreadsheets and data entry

  • Ability to perform accurate and timely work in an organized and efficient manner

WORKING ENVIRONMENT: The majority of work is performed in a professional office setting with a wide variety of people with differing functions, personalities and abilities.
